300 years into the future, the environment as awhole hasn't changed much. Global warming did not take place in any means like the humans had once said. And the humans, they are extinct. It was a virus, a deadly virus that had no cure. It spread throughout the world. It did not, however, effect the animals. So with not many other threats, the wold population had a chance to rebuild itself. And did. The land masses, the continents, have since broken into smaller masses, the average size of the states in the U.S. The landmass of Libertad was one of the first to break off of the North American Continent. At first, no wolves were present on the island until the shallow water between Libertad and the rest of the continent was frozen over. While more and more wolves started to discover the island, a pack formed and crossed the ice bridge to Libertad. They called themselves the Sultan Pack. Most of the wolves on Libertad now are the descendants of the Sultan Pack. Soon, a meraculous wolf population began to form on the island of Libertad.
